Greetings Todd,

I watched it Friday night, recorded it, and watched it again Saturday and Sunday.  It was terrific!  Everything I hoped it would be.  I got nothing but good feelings about the future.  Oh, and tell Mary she has a face made for TV.  She needn’t be so camera shy.

I am attaching the recipe for upland game bird breasts that I’ve been promising for almost a year.  My apologies for being so remiss.  I keep forgetting.

I am also sending Kurt Vonnegut’s quote regarding food.  It’s from his book, “Jailbird” and it fits the Diner experience perfectly.  Indeed, it could end up on the wall as a quote.

“You can’t just eat food,” he said.  You’ve got to talk about it too.  And you’ve got to talk about it to somebody who understands that kind of food.”  ——-Kurt Vonnegut.

Looking forward to seeing y’all at deer season and please tell Krista that I will be ordering a coconut cream pie for that weekend.  (Yeah, I’ll do it through proper channels).

Thanks and keep fighting the good fight.
